Job Function: To impart ground training to pilots
Division: Airbus India Training (AICT)
Work Location: Delhi
Reporting to (designation): Head of Flight Training
Job Description:
The Ground Instructor will carry out ground training in technical, performance and specialized course content (LVO, EDTO etc.) He shall have good knowledge and communication skill for imparting training. He shall be free from prejudice and strong likes and dislikes. He should be capable of instilling high standard of discipline among the aircrew and shall have balanced attitude towards them.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide initial ground training to pilots on A320 family aircraft - technical theoretical knowledge, performance part and specialized course content like LVO, EDTO etc.
2. To conduct System Knowledge Modules examination
3. To update his/her knowledge on the applicable regulation, training procedures etc.
4. To contribute towards development/updating of courseware content as required by the Head of Flight Training

Specialized knowledge and skills:
1. The candidate should be a Science/ Engineering graduate from a recognized Board/ University or a qualified pilot/ flight navigator/SFI / TRI / DE
2. Shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
3. have at least two years of teaching experience as a Ground Instructor in an aviation organization
Preference-
a. Candidates having current DGCA approval as Ground Instructor on A320 family aircraft will be preferred.
b. Candidates having the scope to teach more than one of these modules (technical/ performance part / special operations (LVO, PBN, EDTO, EFB etc.) on A320 family aircraft will be preferred.
