Job Title/Designation : Product Documentation (Technical Writer)
Job Description :
We are looking for a talented and motivated Technical Writer to own our Developer and End-User Documentation.
As the Principal Tech Writer, you will document SDK integration steps and examples for all supported platforms, including Web, iOS, Android and Unity. Additionally, you will document the use of all APIs for creating behavioral segments and creating programmatic campaigns across supported marketing channels including Push, In-App, SMS, Web, Web Push, Email, and Webhooks.
Finally, you will be responsible for documenting end user functionality supported in the dashboard not only describing features but providing examples and use-cases.
The successful candidate will be comfortable interacting with Engineering, Design, Product Management and Marketing. You'll be comfortable with web and mobile technologies and have a passion making complex topics, simple and approachable.
Role Requirements :
1. Minimum 6 years of technical writing experience
2. Bachelors degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related fields
3. Experience writing for the Developer audience, DevOps audience, or IT Pro audience
4. Direct experience documenting Objective-C/Swift/Java (Android) / JavaScript client side APIs and REST JSON-Based Server-Side APIs
5. Direct experience using multiple documentation tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles along with technical style guides
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. A proactive and open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results
8. Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
9. Strong attention to detail and Strong interpersonal skills
10. Ability to take highly complicated material and turn it into easily digestible material for non-technical users
