Job Location: Chennai (Near East Tambaram) / Madurai

Job Title: Technical Writer

The Role:

Technical writers must be able to distill complex information into clear, concise text. They must have excellent writing and grammar skills and be able to work independently, delivering accurate documentation under deadline pressure. Technical writers must know a variety of software programs so they can write text, create charts and graphs, and incorporate diagrams and photos into documents.

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal teams to understand product documentation requirements
• Screening resumes of the candidates based on the technical job description available
• Create strong content that fulfills company standards and ensure documentations are of a specific standard.
• Write straight-forward user tutorials and interface text
• Utilize a variety of media forms; include images and charts
• Analyze current content and make improvements as necessary

Requirement:

• Bachelor/ Masters Engineering degree Mechanical / Electrical Engineering discipline preferably
• 3-5 years of experience
• Communication, detail oriented, technical knowledge, writing skill
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
