Job Description for Advertising Purposes
Plan, research, write, update and edit user documentation. User documentation could be one or all of User's Guides, Reference Guides, System Administration and Configuration Guides, Installation Guides, Read Me First Notes and Online.
The person will be required to work with the Product and Technical Writing teams under the guidance of a team leader and writing coach to ensure technical accuracy in documents.
Candidate Profile: A graduate/post graduate degree in Engineering, Science or Maths.

Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in direct technical writing of software product documentation
Domain Knowledge: One or more of the following
* Experience in working as a user or a writer for software.
* Experience in designing and writing product documentation and aware of industry trends and practices.
*Experience in creating Help for mobile and other hand held devices
Other Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail.
* Good experience in one or more major desktop publishing software packages and/or online help development software packages (Arbortext Editor, RoboHelp, WebWorks).
