Technical Authoring (tech Publications)
Job description
Will perform activities associated for Technical Authoring for aircraft systems with different aircraft Programs. To perform Authoring and relevant engineering activities.
- Ø Creation/Revision of Component Maintenance Manuals(CMM)
Ø Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order,
- Ø clarity, conciseness, style and/or terminology
Ø Strong working knowledge on Arbortext Epic Editor, Corena CSDB, or any Content Management Systems and Adobe FrameMaker
Ø Working knowledge on PLM tools like Teamcenter and Ennovia
Ø Familiar with XML, SGML, and resolving the XML parsing errors
Ø Good knowledge on ASD S1000D Issue 4.1 and 4.0, ATA iSpec 2200 and Simplified Technical English Issue 6
Ø Good oral and writing skills, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ø Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Ø Working knowledge of illustration tools (Isodraw 7.3), 3DVIA and Catia will add advantage.
Ø Experience of working on Nacelle products like Thrust Reverser, Inlet Cowl, and Engine Build Units will add advantage.
Ø Willingness to work in extremely tight schedules, while still not neglecting the value of attention to details and subsequently delivering high quality work
Skill:
PLM, CATIA, Authoring, CMM, SGML, XML, Teamcenter, Arbortext, Epic Editor, Framemaker, Management Systems.
