                         TECHNICAL WRITER

Job Summary:

A Technical Writer needs to work very closely with the development, quality, support, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy in the documentation and providing feedback. He or she also develops user documentation for products according to established quality and other guidelines.

Job Description:

The roles and responsibilities of the Technical Writer include the following:

· Working closely with the product development teams to understand new features, gather necessary knowledge, and document product features

· Planning, developing, and supporting software product technical documentation, including but not limited to product user guides, administration guides, and inline product help content

· Using photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase the users' understanding

· Adhering to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

Required Candidate profile

Desired Skills and Experience:

· Education- Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, or mass communications

· Experience- 2-5 years of relevant experience

· Excellent command of English

· Experience of writing software end-user documentation and training materials (ideally for cloud- based platforms and services)

· Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods

· Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction  for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects

· Excellent writing and communication skills

· Ability to learn technical information quickly

· Willingness to be proactive in seeking information

· Experience with the entire product documentation life cycle, including the ability to plan and  organize writing projects, manage technical reviews, and produce documents within schedule, with 
minimal or no supervision.
