Requirements
- Strong Communication Skills
- Experience in writing and editing technical documentation such as Install Guides, User Guides, Release Notes, Field Guides, Admin Guides, and Online Help, Functional Specs, Web Pages, Training Material etc.
- Proficient in using documentation templates and style guidelines to develop documentation that has a consistent visual and structural approach
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
- Experience in any of the following tool Autho IT/Frame Maker/ RoboHelp is an added advantage.
- Experience in architecting complex documents and documentation sets.
- Experience in creating documentation plans and schedules for documents and documentation sets.
- Create written text with minimal stylistic and grammatical errors.
- Deliver information products with limited supervision and direction.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
- Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
- Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Create and maintain the information architecture
