Job Description
Microchip is looking for a Technical Writer, who can produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our wireless products. The technical writer should be able to work independently and collaborate with an engineering team to develop various documents such as User guides, Datasheets, Application notes etc.
• DITA (SDL) / XML Authoring (Oxygen or any XML editors)
• Technical Writing / Proof reading
• User Guide Development / Datasheet Development
• MS Word
Job Requirements
• Plan, write, and deliver documents for various wireless products.
• Proof reading documentation for spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors.
• Expertise in creating block diagram or flow charts using MS VISIO.
• Thorough understanding of the technical writing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive experience working with global teams and independently handles expectations.
• Ability to work productively in a dynamic, dead-line driven environment.
