LEAD ENGINEER- TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS - Aerospace

           ENGINEER- TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS

Job Description:

  • Creation/Revision of Component Maintenance Manuals, Aircraft MaintenanceManuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Structural Repair Manual
  • Power Plant Buildup Manual (PPBUM), and Quick Engine Change (QEC) Kits.
  • Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order,
  • clarity, conciseness, style and/or terminology.
  • Assists with scheduling creation/revisions for internally authored and externally authored manuals.
  • Ability to create simple illustrations for Illustrated Parts List and other pageblocks of CMM.


Requirements:

  • BE Mechanical or Aerospace with 6 to 10 years previous experience in a relevant role.
  • Strong working knowledge on Arbortext Epic Editor, Corena CSDB, or any Content Management Systems and Adobe Framemaker
  • Working knowledge on PLM tools like Teamcenter and Ennovia
  • Familiar with XML, SGML, and resolving the XML parsing errors
  • Good knowledge on ASD S1000D Issue 4.1 and 4.2, ATA iSpec 2200 and Simplified Technical English Issue 7
    Good oral and writing skills, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Working knowledge of illustration tools (Isodraw 7.3), 3DVIA and Catia will add advantage.
  • Experience of working on Nacelle products like Thrust Reverser, Inlet Cowl, and Engine Build Units will add advantage.
  • Willingness to work in extremely tight schedules, while still not neglecting the value of attention to details and subsequently delivering high quality work.
